1. How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?
We used conventions by choosing a slow song in the background to show the dramatic effect. We only had 3 characters during our film. The audience we were targeting was people in need of help in school. There are many people struggling in school nowadays. We used a variety of different camera angles and shots during the film as over the shoulder, zoomed-in, up close, etc. We used up-close shots to sense the emotion.
2. How does your product engage with audiences AND how would it be distributed as a real media text?
We engage the audience in a variety of ways. The first way we include them is how they can see when the actor fails the test. Another example is when there's suspenseful music in the background, and uplifting music when he passes
3. How did your production skills develop throughout this project?
My production skills improved drastically over the project. I did not even know a single bit on how to edit at all. But after continuing to work I got the process down. I got better at acting, filming, and editing throughout the entire process.
4. How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online – in this project?
We did not use many technologies over the project all we used were a phone and imovie which we edited on a phone.
